Watkins Amber Glass Bottle - Vintage

This vintage beauty is a very early 1900s J.R Watkins amber glass shampoo/dandruff remover bottle. Crafted with care, this dark Amber brown bottle has a "rare" flared top and cork spout with rounded edge. The embossed J R Watkins copy is on the sides, which mark it as a product of a company which stood for quality and personal service. The bottle captures the essence of the turn of the 20th century, with its artful design, and warm, rich hues. There is a metal cork top lid, which is quite fancy. It was on the bottle when I found it in the estate of a bottle collector who passed at 97 yrs of age. the lid is lead based and old. I believe it was there intentionally, and therefore, I am selling with the lid.
