Vintage 1904 Fostoria Buttress Trinket Box - Art Nouveau Crystal Cut Glass

This is a 1904 Fostoria Buttress Art Nouveau trinket box. The box itself is composed of cut crystal glass and topped with a silver plated lid depicting a hibiscus flower and buds. The item is in good condition, but does have some light tarnishing and foxing (see photos). The box has a length of 3.5", with width and height both being 1.5". Though small, this container would be perfect for loose hairpins, rings, and other small jewelry! Crystal boxes have long been collected for their unique shapes and finishes. This box truly makes the "test of time" look simple. A little more polishing with a silver cloth will bring out the true beauty of the lid.
