This is a 1.5 Liter dish, perfect for cooking for two people or for presenting side dishes at dinner. The dish by itself weighs 1 pound 10 ounces, and with the lid it measures 2 pounds 8 ounces. The dish is marked with "CORNING WARE P-4-B 1.5 LITER" and the lid is marked with "PYREX P-4-C. C-15". The glass lid had a chip, (see photos), but the previous owner, had the chip ground down to make it totally safe for further use. It was entirely common from the 1800s through 1980, for cookware, dishes and glassware to be repaired, then the owner continued using, as was the case with this piece.
