Rosskropf and Gerz Stein 1901 - Antique Gnome Character Beer Stein

A Rare Antique Character Stein Depicting a smiling happy Gnome with a Pipe and Foamy Beer. This large character's head, is the lid to the stein, which lifts up, as you push down on an intricate pewter handle behind the gnome. There are no cracks or chips where the lid meets the rim, in fact there are no chips, cracks or crazing on this piece, it is in very good antique condition! He has had loving care for nearly 125 years.

Stamped on the underside "Made in West Germany 430" for Rosskopf and Gerz, circa 1901 to 1909.

Measure: 10 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches deep which includes the handle.
