This is gorgeous example of the Roseville, Mayfair pattern pottery from the late 1940's or early 1950s. Mayfair Green is the manufacturers name for the color of this vase. Its a rich glossy green on the outside with a saw tooth top edge and a bright, yellow-green almost chartreuse on the inside. The two tones are stunning together, giving this mid century piece the feeling of a real leafy plant. The saw tooth edge around the top lends to this feeling. The photos shows the light crazing on the vase, it is not as visible in real life. Marked on the bottom "Roseville 1003-8". Could definitely stand alone decoratively or be filled with a nice bouquet.
