Pierrot Clown With Mandolin Figural Creamer - Vintage 1930's

This Pierrot clown creamer is a terrific example of a figural table piece from the 1930's. The creamer depicts a Pierrot with a mandolin in a bright orange and green Deco pitcher was produced in 1930 by The Schafer and Vater Company. Schafer and Vater became famous in the marketplace, depicting humorous novelty table ware. It is marked as made in Germany. Many Schafer and Vater pieces are unmarked; thus, this one is unique. The piece is in excellent condition. The paint and features are still bright, and there are no chips or scratches. This would be a fine piece to add to a collection.
