Patrician Spokes - Amber Madrid - Federal Glass Fruit Nappy Bowl

Four Patrician Spokes fruit nappy bowls, from the late 1930s, in Madrid, yellow Amber from Federal Glass. These Patrician Depression Glass patterns are commonly called the Spoke pattern or Madrid Amber glass. Federal Glass Company often marketed the amber color as "Golden Glo". The fruit napkin bowl has forever been the work horse of any dinnerware set. It is small, and fits nicely at a place setting, holding fruit, vegetables, dipping sauce, pudding, ice cream, shells and bones or finger wipes. These are in great condition and have always been hand-washed, as is recommended for all glassware.
