This set of 2 Low Sherbert glasses was created in the 1930's by Tiffin Glass Company. The Tiffin Glass Company of Tiffin, Ohio, was a section of The United States Glass Company of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, in 1892. In 1963, the U.S Glass Company went bankrupt and the Tiffin employees purchased both the building and inventory, but by 1980, the company was officially closed. This set of glasses has a gold-encrusted rim with a pattern titled Minton Clear. The glasses are both blown glass, so they do have some imperfections which are a few minuscule bubbles in the base, as well as some curvature to the rims. Both of the glasses in this pair have a small singular chip in the rim, as well as a few scratches to the inside of the gold-encrusted rim.
The glasses are about 4 inches tall and 3.75 inches wide. They both hold about 4 oz of liquid. Because both glasses have chips, this set is 25% off.
