This footed compote was made by the L. E. Smith Co. as part of a series of patterned glass in the late 1950s and into the 1960s. The Moon and Stars pattern is very popular glass to collect. The crimped edge is in excellent condition with no chips or scratches. This would make a great candy dish on your desk. It would look great, no matter what seasonal candy was displayed.
