What a beautiful reminder of Epicurean history! This mold was most likely used for aspic in a kitchen in the early 1800s. It does not have a visible maker's marking. It appears to be hand-hammered and the turned edge appears to be hand worked. What chef would not love this piece, if a kitchen designer does not grab it up first! It is a one-of-a-kind delight.

size: 12.25" diameter x 2.75" tall
