Add a pop of green to your kitchen with this adorable porcelain pitcher. Erphila pieces have a long history in America. The term, "Erphila" refers to American importers Ebeling & Reuss (Er), who began importing Czech ceramics to Philadelphia, PA (phila) after the 1920s. The pitcher has a beautiful, hand-painted wavy verdure green design broken up by thin lines of blue across the middle, bottom, and topmost rim. The inside of the pitcher is white with a base and handle to match. At the underside of the pitcher, there is a gold stamp that reads, "ERing Est 1886 Erphila Made in Czechoslovakia." The item is in good condition with some small paint loss at the rim of the pour spout, but otherwise minimal signs of wear. This pitcher is designed to hold milk for tea or cereal at breakfast, but could be repurposed or displayed to the buyer's liking.
