Dark Reddish-Brown Glass Medicine Bottle - Cork and Wire Stopper Style - early 1900s

This bottle was crafted with precision and captures the warm, golden hues of very dark amber. The rich, translucent amber color of the glass was chosen for a purpose, it provides UV protection, making it an ideal choice for storing oils, perfumes, or other light sensitive liquids, yet allowing the user to be able to see the volume of the contents. The bottle is missing its original stopper, which was held in place with a wire before the bottle was originally opened. Inside the glass there are some small bubbles, due to being mouth blown into a mold. After the 1920s we do not see the bubbles.
