Dark Reddish-Brown Glass Medicine Bottle - Cork and Wire Stopper Style - early 1900s

This bottle was crafted with precision and captures the warm, golden hues of very dark amber. The rich, translucent amber color of the glass was chosen for a purpose; it provides UV protection, making it an ideal choice for storing oils, perfumes, or other light-sensitive liquids, yet allowing the user to be able to see the volume of the contents. The bottle is missing its original stopper, which was held in place with a wire before the bottle was originally opened. Inside the glass there are some small bubbles, due to being mouth-blown into a mold.
