This Child's milk glass plate was made to serve a child's spoon-fed meal. The plate originally had gold paint on the alphabet letters and the edge balls. The gold was painted onto the finished plate, thus, called "cold" paint. This type of paint process usually slowly rubs off with heavy use. But could also be redone to make the plate a wonderful wall decoration for a nursery.
The plate measures 7" in diameter x 1" height
