Celluloid Bride and Groom Figurines in Crepe Paper Clothes - Vintage Cake Topper From 1920's - collectible Cake Toppers sold as set

This cute celluloid couple was made in Japan in the 1920's. Many other celluloid figures like these are missing parts of their crepe paper outfits. This bride and groom comes complete with top hat, flower, veil, and the original stands. They are really the sweetest little chubby people. It is amazing that I found them at an estate sale, carefully tucked away on a shelf in the attic. They probably had been existing in their little box for 95 years without anyone disturbing them. They could be a treasure for a celluloid collector or a cake topper collector.

Each measures 3.5 inches tall, 2 inches long, and 1.5 inches wide. The groom's top hat makes him 4 inches tall. Sold as a set, how could anyone separate these little lovers.
