Austrian Mikasa Glass Flower Shaped Candy Dish, Vintage

This lovely Mikasa candy dish has never been used. It was still in the original store gift box when discovered. The label remains on the rim. The bowl was produced in Austria in the 1950s and was made to resemble a flower blossom. The Mid Century Modern crowd loved the Mikasa brand and made it into a household word in the 1950s and 60s. The glass produced by Mikasa was usually heavy and very clear. This lovely bowl would be a great gift for a friend who loves Mid Century Modern decor.

Measures 5.5 inches in diameter and 3.25 inches tall.
