A.H. Heisey Garden Bowl in Pineapple Plantation

The Heisey Glass Company described this pedestal bowl as a Floating Garden Bowl. The pattern is called “Pineapple Plantation” in recognition of the beautiful pineapples radiating out from the center of the bowl. The Heisey Glass Company was one of the most respected American Crystal glass producers from its inception in 1895 until it closed in 1957. Their pieces are sought after by collectors and those who appreciate quality glassware. This piece is in excellent condition. Pineapples are used as a symbol of welcoming, making this piece perfect for a housewarming gift, or it would be lovely as a wedding decoration given by the groom's family to a bride to say "welcome to our family. It would it be perfect displaying fruit or a dessert at a baby or wedding shower. Or create a romantic atmosphere filled with some water and floating candles!!
