Mid-century Thatch Roof House, Pottery teapot - This teapot is from a series made in Japan in the 1950s as a copy of an English Cottage series of Teapots made and sold in England. The English teapots were costly and sold to collectors and tourists. The Japanese pots were very well made, hand-painted and popular in the mass market of the United States.
