The company was in the Silesia region of Central and Eastern Europe, now Poland. Each piece in the set has a painted scene of babies and children playing. (see the Photos). The Altwasser logo is stamped on the bottom of each item, it features a bird over the words, \"C.T. Altwasser Silesia\". This set would look great on a shelf in a nursery, in a kitchen display, or in part of a vintage collection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe dish has two scenes of a baby playing with a dog on one edge and a baby playing with two cats on the opposite edge. The mug has an image of a baby crawling. On the small pitcher, there's a scene of two children playing with a baby, and two cats are at their feet. On the other side there is a baby with a sweet by a parrot, a chicken, and dog.
